I went with a friend to Cannon Beach and had a wonderful time! Early in the morning I went out so I could catch Haystack Rock at sunrise. The rock started to turn a rich orange color as the sunlight rose from behind the eastern horizon. As the morning wore on the mist from the ocean disappeared. This painting was made completely out on the beach!
 
P.S.: A few bits of sand are included in the painting!
